Lockdown Gallery

Alongside taking up Yoga, learning German and hosting an insane amount of Zoom quizzes, I worked on a collection of different illustrations around my lockdown experiences.

1/7 Not so bad?

The start of the lockdown in March 2020 saw glorious sunshine, so working from the garden didn't seem so bad...right?

It's never been so easy to make a difference. Be mindful of those around you, be selfless, and wear a mask.

People connecting through technology

6/7 Reach out

The lockdown left many of us feeling isolated, despite us being more connected than ever.

This design was created to inspire people to reach out and connect with others. It's easy for the feeling of loneliness to overwhelm in lockdown & for people to go into shutdown, but there so many ways in which we are able to keep in touch with friends & family now thanks to our technology and endless messaging platforms, and online support networks.

This piece was to remind people that although times may seem difficult, don't ever feel like you're alone in this - reach out!

7/7 Perspective

Our perspective has a huge impact on the way we see the world and ourselves. I've found the past year has given me that time to put things into perspective and the trivial worries that existed before seem so irrelevant and silly now.

Sometimes experiences like this help us to understand what really matters and appreciate that value of what we already have.
